Mardi8 is in charge of the 3D modelling of several emblematic wrecks of the Mediterranean underwater heritage and of the rental of VR broadcasting media. The devices designed on the basis of these virtual reconstructions will be deployed on 5 sites in the Region Sud.

The Southern Region is developing a project, in collaboration with European actors, focused on the development of underwater maritime heritage, through the creation of a cross-border network of sites of underwater activities (underwater trails, adjacent diving sites, virtual underwater discovery), mobilizing and promoting the expertise of public and private actors in the cooperation area.

The Region therefore designs and produces audiovisual products (underwater shots, 3D images, etc.) and acquires innovative equipment and broadcasting media. The objective is to allow non-divers to experience underwater exploration "out of the water".
